2018 TORONTO CYCLOCROSS – Course PROFILE
2018 Course Description:
The 2.84 km course is designed around a small (30 meter total elevation) alpine ski hill. The course itself is grassy, diverse, has a major run-up and gravel road climb to the top of the hill, punchy small climbs, sweeping descents and has a unique woods section ascent as well. Each lap of the course contains a total of 65 meters of vertical climbing. The race course also includes a man-made set of 40cm tall planks, a Belgian staircase and a double-sided pit that is located at mid-point on the course (and is clearly labeled). Additionally, the course has been designed in a format to accomplish simple access to Registration/EVENT HQ and easy spectator flow while having as few crosswalks as possible. The Start section is separate from the race course and is only used for the start of each race. The start is located to the right of the finish line.
